We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Trade Support Associate/VP to join a well-known financial institution. In this critical position, you will oversee the efficient management of trade activities, acting as a crucial link between our trading desk, clients, and various internal departments to secure trade data integrity and minimize operational risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for the trading desk on all post-trade issues, offering real-time assistance and updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate trade capture and validation immediately post-execution
- Take charge of trade affirmation and coordinate with custodians and agent banks for timely settlements, resolving any discrepancies that arise.
- Process corporate actions related to fixed income and equity-linked products, and monitor lifecycle events in swaps.
- Conduct daily and intra-day reconciliations between internal records and external statements to swiftly identify and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in Trade Support or Settlements.
- Familiarity with various products would be ideal
- Demonstrated knowledge of the complete trade lifecycle for both over-the-counter (OTC) and exchange-traded derivatives.
- High level of expertise in MS Excel, including the use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, and basic formulas.
- Experience with collateral management and margin processes is a plus.
