We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as
Head of FX, North Asia Principal responsibilities - In charge of the FX business in Hong Kong across Private Bank and Retail Wealth client segments; manage the teams supporting the relevant businesses
- Lead the 2 main business lines- FX Direct advisory, FX Marketing and Retail
- Support the FX businesses in other North Asia locations across Private Bank and Retail Wealth client segments
- Develop Active FX Client business under the Dedicated Advice and Dealing initiative that provides dedicated service to selected clients on advice, dealing and risk monitoring of FX trades
- Support Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors in advising and executing eligible FX solutions for clients outside the Dedicated Advice and Dealing initiative
- Work to have a FX Retail strategy and execute it to grow our FX Retail proposition
- Coordinate with global and regional counterparts to produce FX house views, market updates and trade ideas
- Manage relationships with internal and external trade counterparties
- Work with 2nd line of defense on risk monitoring and management related to the team and the business
- Maintain and develop FX related systems
Qualifications Requirements - Proven ability to manage FX business with Active FX client coverage experience
- Profound knowledge and experience in FX market with ability to derive and deliver FX recommendations across multiple currencies
- Familiar with option strategies, derivatives and structured products
- Familiar with dynamic Greek-based margining system and methodology
- Strong risk management skills for managing client's FX positions
- Solid dealing capabilities, with attention to details and good knowledge in dealing systems
- Able to work under pressure and execute client orders accurately and effectively
- Strong management skill, sales and marketing skill, people skill
- Bachelor degree
