The Senior AI Execution Manager helps HSBC use artificial intelligence (AI) to solve business problems and improve how the bank works. This role oversees AI projects from start to finish, ensures that teams work well together, and supports staff learning about new AI technologies. The role also handles requirements from regulators and helps HSBC keep up with changes in the industry.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Senior Product Owner Digital Channels.
In this role you will: - Shape and deliver HSBC's AI strategy, making sure AI supports the bank's goals
- Lead and coordinate teams working on AI projects, bringing together people from different parts of the bank like Sales, IT, Risk, and Compliance
- Set up clear ways of working for AI projects, from initial ideas to full launch and ongoing support
- Help HSBC stay connected with industry leaders, regulators, and educational organizations on topics related to AI
- Work with Learning & Development to roll out training and upskilling programs so staff can use AI effectively
- Oversee the safe use of AI in the bank, making sure new solutions meet all rules and standards before they go live
- Encourage teamwork, innovation, and knowledge sharing across departments and regions
- Stay updated on rules and best practices, working closely with teams handling legal and regulatory matters
- Track progress and results for AI projects, reporting outcomes to leaders and other stakeholders.
To be successful you will need: - Degree in a relevant field such as IT, Business, Engineering, or similar
- Experience leading projects or teams, ideally in banking, financial services, or technology
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with change and helping others learn new things
- Experience dealing with rules and requirements in large organizations
- Ability to build good working relationships inside and outside the bank
- Interest in new technology and a positive, practical approach to solving problems
