  • Partner with stakeholders to collect, document, and analyze business requirements related to distribution compensation.
  • Assess existing systems and processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop detailed use cases and user stories to clearly communicate requirements to development teams.
  • Serve as the liaison between business units and offshore development teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Define and align SIT and UAT approaches and schedules, ensuring solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Assist in project planning, monitoring, and reporting on progress, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinate resource planning with offshore teams and help upskill team capabilities to meet Hong Kong team expectations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years as a Business Systems Analyst, with strong focus on life and health insurance distribution compensation operations.
  • Deep understanding of insurance products, policy lifecycle, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with system development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and related tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • FLMI qualification is an advantage.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with insurance policy management systems (e.g., Ingenium, LifeAsia).
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Oracle or DB2 databases.
  • Understanding of system integration processes and data analysis techniques.
