Job Description As a Lead Software Engineer in Asset & Wealth Management, you will lead agile teams in designing and delivering technology solutions that are secure, stable, and scalable. Job Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain sophisticated algorithms
- Create architecture and design artifacts for large-scale applications
- Identify and resolve systemic issues, leveraging data insights to drive improvements
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices
- Champion software engineering communities of practice and lead technology initiatives
- Promote a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Java (17+) and expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proven track record in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large corporate environments
- Expertise in modern programming languages and database querying
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated leadership in technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile technologies
- Experience influencing technical direction and strategy across teams or projects
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Strong familiarity with modern technologies and frameworks
- Significant exposure to cloud technologies and architectures
- Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects
- Interest in financial services
