We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as
EVP, Corporate Banking - Large Local Corporates (Key Relationship Manager), reporting to Director, Corporate Banking - Large Local Corporates.
Principal responsibilities - Manage a customer portfolio of mega-size relationships to drive sales, manage credit risk and other services to customer, with management tasks;
- With a team with mix of relationships managers / associates / analysts to support, and thus is a people manager role to lead and to deliver results collectively;
- Assist the Director including but not limited to strategies implementation in relation to the assets and liabilities matters as well as on achievement of the assigned departmental business targets;
- Establish and maintain close customer contacts and mutual understanding to flourish relationship, deliver excellent services and acquire updated information on customers' business/financing needs;
- Structure credit facilities and prepare credit proposals in a timely and professional manner, under the constraints of credit / lending policies;
- Negotiate with clients on facility terms in order achieve thorough understanding of their businesses, financing requirements and market conditions;
- Improve the loan portfolio mix and maintain the loan assets at quality level by conducting credit assessment of customers' financing requests in a professional manner; monitoring credit risk regularly; and taking necessary actions promptly and appropriately;
- Deepen and expand customer base in order to increase the Bank's market share in the segment;
- Enhance the customer portfolio profitability and return;
- Prepare facility documentation according to credit approvals and market standards;
- Manage operational risks, including identification, assessment, mitigation and controls;
- Carry out sales and marketing of non-lending banking products with an objective to maximize the Bank's profitability
Requirements - University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance, related discipline or other relevant qualifications;
- Proven experience in credit analysis, sales and marketing, and customer relationship management;
- Able to demonstrate ability in managing relationship with large corporates to the extent of becoming the trusted advisor. Strong network with the business community in the large local corporate sector is preferred;
- Track record of leading a team to successfully deliver business results with excellent management and leadership skills is preferred. Ability to provide context and direction to team members, deliver high performance through people, coach and develop others;
- Strong sales and customer service orientation, with self-motivation and ability to work under pressure;
- Sound communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
- Resilient, capable of working responsibly in a dynamic environment;
- Proficiently in English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is a must;
- High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
