Your new company We are currently seeking a talented System Analyst - Application System Engineer for one of our most sizeable financial services.
Your new role - Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse requirements and enhance existing application systems to align with evolving business objectives.
- Deliver comprehensive technical and application support, including system administration and performance optimisation for the investment management platform.
- Oversee and maintain testing environments to facilitate smooth user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Coordinate with external solution vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents effectively.
- Support the change management process for application systems, ensuring proper documentation and governance.
- Contribute to system implementation projects, including procurement and setup of hardware, software, and associated services.
- Promote a culture of innovation by encouraging creative thinking and continuous improvement across teams
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT or application support.
- Experience in supporting treasury or banking systems is MUST.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate and manage stakeholders.
- Proficiency in low-code platforms, Java, SQL, Python, UNIX/Linux shell scripting, and familiarity with DevOps and automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible is highly desirable.
- Experience in database administration, Oracle database or SQL will be highly preferred.
