Job Description

Customer Development and Sales Growth

• Build and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the Game & Entertainment sector in global market.

• Identify, engage, and onboard high-potential internet game and entertainment clients across target overseas markets (e.g., Asia, Europe, America etc.).

• Establish business and technical relationships with C-level executives, uncover product and technical requirements, and generate qualified sales opportunities.

• Drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing key accounts by enhancing their experience through improved service, business collaboration, and other means to increase resource utilization.

Solution Selling & Customer Satisfaction

• Based on an understanding of the customer's business background, effectively communicate the technical value of Alibaba Cloud and AI solutions-including Qwen AI, server, storage, CDN, data analytics, security, and specific offerings, as critical enablers for customers' growth and operational excellence.

• Partner with technical teams (solution Architects and product) to tailor proposals that address customer requirements.

• Manage key customer satisfaction, identify and escalate customer issues to internal teams, driving improvements in internal product solutions and process.

Market strategy and Activity Execution

• Proactively analyze global trends in gaming and digital entertainment sectors to identify new opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.

• Collaborate with internal and partners to develop vertical-specific campaigns, case studies and co-marketing initiatives , enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Position Requirement

Experience:

• 5+ years in sales, business development, or account management in cloud computing or internet gaming/entertainment sectors.

• Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals with overseas clients, especially familiar with gaming, or digital entertainment sectors.

• Existing clients or partner network within the global gaming/entertainment ecosystem is highly desirable.

• Deep understanding of gaming/entertainment business, familiar with cloud and AI tech stacks (e.g., GenAI, sever, database, network, security, content delivery), be able to collaborate with technical team to design the solution and present to customers.

• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in cloud and AI LLM pricing models , TCO analysis, and contract negotiation.

• Global perspective: Understand global cloud providers and ecosystem trends, collaborate effectively with cross-cultural, international teams to drive project success.

• Self-driven hunter mentality with resilience in competitive markets.

• Fluency in Chinese and English; additional languages are a plus.
