Head of Operations - Hong Kong Stablecoin Issuer Role Roles & Responsibilities: - Building the Operations team covering settlement, redemption, minting, reconciliation, risk management, reporting, internal controls, wallets, etc.
- Develop policies, procedures and process to ensure adequate controls to comply with regulatory (HKMA) requirements.
- Develop operations processes and designing operations flows to meet the company's business strategy.
- Plan and perform operations processing functions, relevant policies to provide best-in-class operations, user services and user redemption experience.
- Work with technology and product teams to design end to end solutions. Participate in a new process or enhancement projects from time to time.
- Support and help in vendor management
- Recruit, train, supervise or participate in staffing decisions for operations and payment team
Requirements: - Have bachelors degree(s) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics and Law or a related field but preference with degree(s) in Engineering subjects (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc).
- Fluent in English and proficient in mandarin will be a nice to have
- At least 7 years of experience, and more than 2 years of work experience in digital assets, Web3.0, payment, banking related environment
- Strong interest and familiar with blockchain, payment and settlement
- Excellent in project management, team management and communication skills
- Knowledge in DeFi, and Web3 protocols be a nice to have
- Role will be based in Hong Kong
