About the job Trade Floor Deskside Support
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide L1 and L2 support on HK trading floor, including desktop troubleshooting, and software installations
- Provide technical support and guidance on trading applications, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration.
- Supporting traders by troubleshooting Excel spreadsheets and providing expertise in coding languages such as Python and SQL.
- Primary technology contact point for HK Trading floor
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a trading or financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of trading applications
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
