Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions in journals, ledgers, and accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Review employee expense reports, ensure compliance with company policies, and process reimbursements.
- Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules, gathering documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Assist the Head of Finance with ad hoc financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting tasks as required.
- Assist the Head of Finance in building a scalable, efficient, and successful finance function and team
- Collaborate with colleagues in finance, as well as other departments, to address accounting-related queries and provide financial information as needed.
Requirements: - Degree holder in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration with at least 3 years of accounting experiences
- Previous experience at big4 accounting firms is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Sage)
- Proactive, Self-motivated, problem solving skills and able to work independently
- Speaks fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
