Selby Jenningsは、香港を拠点とする急成長中のプラットフォーム型ヘッジファンドより、著名なグローバル・シクリカルPM（ポートフォリオ・マネージャー）と提携し、日本の産業、オート、コモディティ、金融セクターを担当するジュニア・アナリストを募集しています。

当該PMは、同社においてアジアで最初期に立ち上げられたチームの一つを率いており、現在は10億米ドル超の運用資産を担当、第一原理思考（First Principles Thinking）およびファンダメンタルリサーチ能力を非常に重視しています。また、基礎からの育成を前提としたポジションであるため、シクリカル・セクターのカバレッジ経験は必要ありません。

応募要件

• 投資銀行（M&Aが望ましい）またはエクイティ・リサーチにおける1〜3年の実務経験
• 景気循環型セクターのカバレッジ経験は必須ではありません
• 日本語ネイティブレベル、かつ英語ビジネスレベル以上
• 優れた分析力、財務モデリングおよび財務諸表に関する知識
• 複雑な内容を簡潔かつ明確に伝える高いコミュニケーション能力
• 香港勤務が可能であること

Selby Jennings has partnered with a prominent Hong Kong based Global Cyclicals PM at a growing platform hedge fund. The PM is currently seeking a junior analyst to focus on Japan industrials, Auto, Commodities, and Financials.

The PM opened up one of the first teams in Asia for the firm and is now running a book of USD1 Billion+. The team is willing to train an analyst without previous cyclical coverage experience. Candidates must possess strong first principal thinking and fundamental research capabilities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience either in an investment banking program (ideally M&A) or an equity research seat.
• Previous cyclicals coverage experience is NOT required.
• Native Japanese speaker; fluency in English is a must
• Strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial modeling and financial statements
• Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
• Willingness to be based in Hong Kong
