Your new company We are currently looking for a Senior IT Officer (System & Network) for one of our most sizeable in-house clients.
Your new role - Install and configure application servers to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
- Collaborate with vendors on designing, planning, and implementing application/system infrastructure solutions.
- Provide ongoing support for systems maintenance, performance monitoring, diagnostics, and administration of MS Windows Servers, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Cisco Firewall, Barracuda Anti-Spam Firewall, PCs, and other network equipment.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential system/network issues.
- Maintain system/network security and data integrity, including backup management, disaster recovery planning, and execution.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, implementation proposals, and user manuals.
- Deliver general administrative support, helpdesk services, technical assistance, and user training.
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in server, network, and firewall configuration and implementation.
- Possess a strong technical background in enterprise IT systems and infrastructure, including Microsoft Active Directory, Azure cloud platforms, virtualization, Microsoft Office 365, MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, Teams, and Email Security.
- Be highly motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Holding relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.
