A top-tier securities firm is looking for a Manager and Client Account Maintenance to join their Operations department.

Your new role

  • Set up new client profiles and execute all onboarding procedures required for account activation.

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of client data in proprietary systems, adhering to internal policies and regulatory standards.

  • Manage client account updates, including changes to customer details, legal representatives, and authorised signatories.

  • Perform data entry, validation, and approval of account openings and updates in both core and downstream systems, including Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI).

  • Support the full client data lifecycle from sourcing and validation to classification and enrichment.

  • Operate and monitor data quality controls to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness across platforms.

  • Investigate and remediate data discrepancies or gaps to ensure readiness for downstream processes and compliance reporting.

  • Oversee the filing and archiving of client documentation, ensuring all records are complete.

  • Participate in system enhancement projects, including test case development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system migrations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years of operations experience in bank or securities firm

  • Hands-on experience in Account Opening and Client Reference Data

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must (Python/VBA skills are advantageous).

  • Knowledge of KYC/AML processes is advantageous.

  • Perform other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
