Your new role
Conduct thorough due diligence on client profiles, including financial backgrounds, transaction patterns, and geopolitical risks to evaluate overall client suitability.
Monitor ongoing client activities, act as a first line defense
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance and legal, to recommend risk mitigation strategies, such as enhanced monitoring or transaction limits.
Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management
Stay updated on evolving regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML/KYC requirements) and implement changes to client onboarding and review processes.
Support ad-hoc duties
What you'll need to succeed - 3+ years of experience in risk analysis, with private banking or wealth management experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Python and Copilot
- Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field
- Knowledge of HKMA, SFC and MAS regulatory
