As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking an experienced KYC professional to join their second line of defense team. This role offers exposure to complex advisory work, policy development, and regulatory engagement within a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end KYC advisory support, including customer due diligence (CDD) reviews, policy updates, and regulatory reporting.
- Provide guidance on sanctions screening, trade finance transactions, and non-SDN list management.
- Conduct periodic management information (MI) reporting and assist in preparing training materials for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with first line teams to ensure compliance with global and local regulatory standards.
- Support investigations and escalate potential risks in line with internal governance frameworks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging tools such as World-Check and CSIS for enhanced due diligence.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in KYC advisory or financial crime compliance within banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of trade finance processes and sanctions advisory.
- Familiarity with screening tools (World-Check) and regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver training to internal teams.
- Fluency in English; Cantonese or Putonghua is an advantage.
