Fund Operations / Fund Admin
Job Description
-
- Coordinating workflow and completing detailed preparation/review of Daily/Weekly/Monthly NAV and Ad Hoc reports as needed;
- Prepare trade instruction and settlement, position reconciliation, corporate actions, fund expense payment processing and cash management, etc.;
- Responsible to monitor authorities/regulatory reporting schedules such as CIMA, FATCA, CRS, RQFII & etc. and coordinate the preparation and submission within deadline;
- Ensure all controls and procedures are adhered to as well as make improvements where necessary;
- Assisting the process of account migration, and new business/client onboarding;
- Participate in other special projects or tasks where required;
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with fund admin, custodian, prime brokers, auditors and all other participants by tackling queries, delivering NAV related reports, etc. via phone/email;
- Proactively identify/ensure understanding of business needs and coordinate internally to support the business requirements;
- Provide solutions and/or coordinate support to resolve business issues;
- Escalate all potential complaints, issues and concerns.
Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Professional accounting or finance qualification and/or Masters degree a plus;
- 3-6 years of working experience in fund admin/custodian/asset management back-office operations environment is preferred;
- Excellent understanding of operations in asset management and fund industry;
- Sound knowledge of the investment process and associated market practices;
- Good verbal and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin) communication skills are required including report writing skills;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders;
- Strong organizational and time management skills – ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively within strict deadlines;
- Detail oriented;
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools in particular MS Excel.
