Key Areas of Responsibilities - Review and validate the daily mark-to-market P&L for the respective trading desks
- Report the validated daily P&L on timely basis
- Work with Trading, Middle Office, Operations and IT teams to resolve P&L issues
- Conduct monthly IPV on derivative products
- Participate in month-end closing process to finalize the P&L
- Provision calculation
- Work with Entity Controllers to reconcile Product Control P&L against the accounting ledger
- Participate in the new product approval process and conduct UAT testing
- Work on ad-hoc P&L analysis request from senior management
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance control and improve efficiency
- Generate ideas to streamline current process and enhance controls
Requirements - Degree in accounting, finance or a relevant business discipline
- Over 3 years of direct Product Control experience in an Investment bank or related audit experience in Big 4 Audit Firm
- Basic knowledge on financial products and derivative instruments
- Self-starter with strong control mind set
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadline
- Good communicator and able to work with various stakeholders in front office and supporting functions effectively
- Positive and proactive character with the drive to come up with ideas and make positive changes.
