Key Areas of Responsibilities - Provide on-the-ground activities coordination between the TechOps team in Pune and clients, staff, and the Sales & Research development team.
- Ensure Research IT maintains all TechOps standards and procedures and foster the DevOps mindset and culture across the entire Research IT organization.
- ResIT Container Runtime and Development Pipeline Automation- --- (i) Work with the developers to properly onboard applications into the Production environment
(ii) Coordinate deployment process and procedures for Containerized Environment in ResIT i.e. container image repository and version control system for ResIT's CI/CD pipeline
(iii) Influence and coach developers to enrich the error and application performance logging metrics for quality production operations
Requirements - Bachelor/Master degree, preferrably in IT/Computer Engineering, or other Business degree
- 3 years of experience in application support role, experience/knowledge in Sales & Research will be of advantage
- Experience in SQL and Linux
- Knowledge in Rabbit MQ and AWS is an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese proficiency will be advantage
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Good analytical and presentation skills
- Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and HK public holidays as required (with compensation)
