The Team Due to tremendous demand within the region, A&M Asia is looking for a detail-oriented and strategic professional to join our Insolvency and Restructuring Practice based in Hong Kong.
How you will contribute As an Associate, you will be required to work on a diverse range of complex restructuring and insolvency assignments. This role provides hands-on experience in supporting senior colleagues with financial analysis, insolvency proceedings, and restructuring projects.
Qualifications - With a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business disciplines
- 1-3 years' experience in financial restructuring or insolvency, receivership and/or estate administration, gained from big 4 accounting firms or financial advisory/professional services firms. Fresh graduate and candidates with less relevant experience will also be considered for Analyst position.
- Possess strong financial analytical skills, such as business analysis, short-term cash flow forecast, and liquidation analysis.
- A basic understanding of insolvency legislation and practice is not a prerequisite but helpful.
- Languages: fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
- A demonstrated genuine interest in insolvency and restructuring
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of staff
- Strong in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Team player who can excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment
