Leading APAC-based prop trading firm seeking a Quantitative Developer/Software Engineer coding in C++ to join one of their core trading teams. This is a rare opportunity to work on a powerful global trading systems across the full lifecycle of both research & live trading platforms, working closely with QRs to deliver production-grade, low-latency systems.

Sitting at the core of the business, this role offers unique exposure to the full business scope with outsized impact relative to other teams. You will have significant autonomy and visibility, being responsible for systems spanning design, performance optimisation & operational robustness, all built on a modern high-performance trading stack.

Requirements
  • Solid academic background in computer science, mathematics or a similar quantitative field (Masters degree is preferred)
  • Strong professional experience with data structures, algorithms and programming
  • 5+ years of practical experience with modern C++, ideally in a high-performance context. Real-world Python is highly beneficial, as is Rust/any functional language experience, although not required
  • Proven knowledge in the design, implementation and deployment of high-performance distributed systems and/or low-latency trading systems is highly advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of Linux both as a user and development target
  • Strong ownership and self-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly

Responsibilities
  • Designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining a low-latency, high frequency trading platform, from market-data handling to trading strategy framework and components
  • Designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining a high performance, massively scalable research platform that integrates seamlessly with internal trading platform
  • Designing, implementing and deploying data analysis and systems monitoring tools with a view towards quality control and early error detection
