We're looking for a talented Cybersecurity Engineer to support one of our largest in-house clients. You will work closely with infrastructure teams and external vendors to identify, analyse, and resolve cybersecurity issues across servers, networks, and enterprise systems.
Your new role - Design, implement, and manage security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, etc.).
- Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing actionable recommendations.
- Manage Azure security, including Secure Score in Microsoft Defender and implementing best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for patching and updates.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures. Deliver security awareness training to staff.
- Prepare reports on incidents, risk assessments, and compliance.
What you'll need to succeed - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.
- 3 + years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of network and system security, cryptography, and risk management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+, CISM)
