Our client, a reputable Life Insurance Company is looking for an experienced Head of Digital Business Development to oversee the digital marketing ecosystem and lead-generation strategy. With a focus on maximizing ROI across SEM, SEO, and social channels, you will be responsible for expanding the digital footprint and achieving ambitious coverage for their Life Insurance portfolios.
Job Responsibilities

- Digital Distribution Strategy: Lead the planning, formulation, and execution of digital distribution roadmaps. Harness digital and social media channels to aggressively scale the sales of insurance products and services.
- Performance Marketing & Lead Gen: Define and oversee multi-channel strategies—including SEM, SEO, GDN, PPC , social media, and eDM —to enhance brand exposure for Life Insurance, drive high-quality lead generation, and convert sales via marketing agencies.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize GA/GTM to conduct deep-dive funnel analysis. Translate data into actionable insights to fine-tune digital marketing strategies and optimize the end-to-end online purchase journey.
- Growth & Target Achievement: Orchestrate high-impact marketing initiatives to expand the customer base and consistently meet or exceed online business targets.
- Campaign Analytics & A/B Testing: Rigorously monitor the performance of active campaigns. Lead A/B testing frameworks to identify optimization opportunities, drawing data-backed conclusions to maximize future campaign ROI.
- Platform Enhancement: Act as a key stakeholder in the continuous improvement of web and mobile platforms. Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance UI/UX and overall customer experience.
- Content & Social Ecosystem: Direct the Content Marketing strategy by overseeing high-quality output across social media, 3rd party platforms, and corporate websites, including the management of the companys Facebook and YouTube channels.
- Ecosystem Synergy: Drive strategic cross-selling and up-selling initiatives between General Insurance and other associated business units through integrated online promotions.
Job Requirements

- Academic Background: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Creative Media, or a related discipline.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of Digital Marketing experience within the financial services industry , with a strong preference for candidates from the Insurance sector.
- Campaign Leadership: Proven experience in developing diverse promotional materials and managing external vendors for effective, large-scale digital campaign implementation.
- Platform Mastery: Highly proficient in navigating the social media landscape, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, WeChat, and XiaoHongShu .
- Technical Proficiency: Solid expertise in SEM/SEO/GDN , social media management, content management systems, and eDM strategies.
- Analytical Excellence: A proven track record of improving ROI through rigorous A/B testing , funnel analytics, and data interpretation.
- Product Knowledge: Sound knowledge of Life Insurance products or prior experience in an insurance environment is highly regarded.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; a collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills coupled with sharp business acumen and analytical rigor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing-related applications. Design skills (e.g., Photoshop, AI ) for creating ad artwork are a distinct advantage.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese . Cantonese is a must; Putonghua is an advantage.
