We are looking for a Senior Engineer (Web3) to join our client's core engineering team.
This role combines frontend ownership, backend systems, and Web3 integration, ideal for engineers who enjoy working across the stack and solving complex technical problems in real-world blockchain systems.
You will work on user-facing Web3 applications, transaction flows, and financial dashboards that support high-volume usage and mission-critical workflows.
What Youll Do
- Build and maintain Web3-enabled frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frameworks
- Design and implement backend services and APIs supporting blockchain transactions and business logic
- Integrate with Ethereum and Web3 infrastructure, including smart contracts, wallets, RPC providers, and on-chain data
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver high-quality financial user experiences
- Contribute to system architecture, performance optimisation, and reliability improvements
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and raise overall team quality
Must Have
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong experience in frontend development (React, TypeScript, Next.js or equivalent)
- Solid backend experience (Node.js, Go, or similar)
- Hands-on exposure to Web3 / blockchain development, such as:
- Smart contract interaction (ethers.js / web3.js)
- Wallet integrations
- Understanding of Ethereum transactions, gas, and network behaviour
- Experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good written and spoken English for technical collaboration
Nice to Have
- Smart contract development experience (Solidity)
- DeFi protocol familiarity (DEXs, staking, lending, etc.)
- Experience with Golang
- DevOps exposure (Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes)
- Experience working on high-traffic or financial systems
- Design system or component library experience
