Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data integration APIs using RESTful APIs, AWS S3, HTTPS, SFTP
  • Design and implement data replication, failover, and disaster recovery strategies, leveraging Kubernetes, clustering, and load balancing.
  • Establish and enforce data security measures (access control, encryption, audit logging) to protect sensitive data.
  • Analyse and optimise system performance to improve throughput, response times, and integration efficiency.
  • Implement data validation, lineage tracking, and quality control checks to guarantee accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Build integration solutions for diverse data types.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in RESTful API development and SDLC
  • Solid understanding of API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption, rate limiting).
  • Familiarity with data serialisation formats (JSON) and documentation tools (OpenAPI).
  • Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and microservices integrated with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Skilled in relational and cloud databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, AWS RDS).
  • Proficiency in Python/Java with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry will be highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
