ConnectedGroup is partnering with a global financial institution to identify an experienced
Vice President for their Global Markets & Treasury Trading Group. This is a key role for an accomplished Emerging Markets Rates trader with strong HKD and CNH market expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade core Emerging Markets products (HKD, CNH) and provide market-making services to clients, delivering revenue and meeting financial targets.
- Conduct market analysis and implement hedge strategies.
- Manage trading positions within risk limits and market-making obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, risk, back office, IT) to resolve issues and optimize solutions.
- Drive client coverage and revenue growth with a clear understanding of client segments and market trends.
- Share market intelligence, regulatory updates, and trading insights with stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate booking of positions and compliance with risk guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven EM Rates trading experience with HKD and CNH markets.
- Minimum 5 years managing EM Rates trading books with a strong track record.
- Expertise in Fixed Income products, particularly Interest Rate Swaps and CCS.
- Ability to develop and present trading strategies and risk management plans.
- Strong communication skills and ability to write comprehensive trading commentary.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills across clients and internal teams.
