The Company
A leading global investment bank is seeking a junior C# developer to join its technology hub in Hong Kong, supporting capital markets activities across Asia and major global financial centers.​
The Team
You will join the Front Office IT team within Global IT, a cross‑regional team (Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, London, New York) responsible for pre‑trade / post‑trade / trading systems, maintenance and continuous evolution of the front office technology platform.​
The Role
As part of an agile Asia delivery team, you will design, develop and support trading and related systems using C#, contributing to the digital transformation of the global equity platform, including API‑centric, cloud and DevOps initiatives, while ensuring stable BAU for the existing application stack.​
The Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.​
- Provable interest in the financial industry, especially in capital markets.
- 1–5 years of experience as a C# developer, ideally in global capital markets or another highly demanding environment.​
- Strong programming skills in C#, including web service APIs and general software development.​
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.​
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, monitoring and alerting for DevOps and production support (RTB).​
- Familiarity with .NET, ELK, GitLab, JIRA and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible), plus container/orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.​
- Exposure to agile methodologies and DevOps ways of working.​
- Fast learner, motivated by challenging environments and able to pick up equity business concepts quickly.​
- Strong communication skills in English; Cantonese, Mandarin and/or French are a plus but not mandatory.​
- Demonstrated autonomy, ownership, accountability and focus on value delivery, with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.​
- Interest in or experience with innovative solutions, including AI and machine learning applied to development and delivery processes.​
