The Team

You will join the Front Office IT team within Global IT, a cross‑regional team (Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, London, New York) responsible for pre‑trade / post‑trade / trading systems, maintenance and continuous evolution of the front office technology platform.

The Role

As part of an agile Asia delivery team, you will design, develop and support trading and related systems using C#, contributing to the digital transformation of the global equity platform, including API‑centric, cloud and DevOps initiatives, while ensuring stable BAU for the existing application stack.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Provable interest in the financial industry, especially in capital markets.
  • 1–5 years of experience as a C# developer, ideally in global capital markets or another highly demanding environment.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, including web service APIs and general software development.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, monitoring and alerting for DevOps and production support (RTB).
  • Familiarity with .NET, ELK, GitLab, JIRA and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible), plus container/orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and DevOps ways of working.
  • Fast learner, motivated by challenging environments and able to pick up equity business concepts quickly.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Cantonese, Mandarin and/or French are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, ownership, accountability and focus on value delivery, with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
  • Interest in or experience with innovative solutions, including AI and machine learning applied to development and delivery processes.
