About your team Fidelity is investing in its Enterprise Architecture team with the purpose to serve the needs of Fidelity by enabling the Business, Technology and Data strategies to flourish to realise the targeted business opportunities and value.
The Enterprise Architecture team is responsible enabling the business in APAC to successfully achieve their strategic vision, while ensuring alignment to global architecture and technology standards.
About your role The
Regional Head of Architecture - APAC will provide architectural leadership across Fidelity's Asia businesses. This role will guide decision-making on what should be delivered globally, regionally, or locally to maximize business value, efficiency, and innovation. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the role ensures Fidelity's enterprise architecture principles are applied consistently while adapting to regional market dynamics and regulatory needs.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Regional Alignment - Define and champion an enterprise architecture vision for Asia that aligns with Fidelity's global strategy while addressing regional market needs.
- Provide clear guidance on global vs. regional vs. local solutions, ensuring architectural integrity and efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Asia business and technology leadership on enterprise architecture and strategy.
Business Engagement & Stakeholder Management - Partner with senior Asia business leaders to understand business strategies, challenges, and regulatory drivers, translating them into actionable architecture outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with both global and local stakeholders, influencing decision-making and ensuring business alignment.
- Clearly communicate architectural decisions and roadmaps to technical and non-technical audiences across the region.
Architecture Design & Roadmap - Lead the design of scalable, secure, and compliant solutions tailored for Asia, while maintaining consistency with global architecture frameworks.
- Maintain and evolve an Asia technology roadmap that integrates global, regional, and local perspectives.
- Ensure architectural standards and governance are embedded across initiatives delivered in Asia.
Innovation & Emerging Technology - Monitor industry and technology trends in Asia (e.g., digital adoption, fintech collaboration, regulatory tech) and assess their relevance for Fidelity.
- Drive innovation by piloting and scaling solutions that meet evolving client and market needs.
Risk Management & Compliance - Ensure solutions comply with both global standards and Asia-specific regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks arising from regional architectural decisions.
Leadership & Team Development - Act as a senior architecture leader in the region, mentoring architects and collaborating with global enterprise architecture teams.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across Asia and global teams.
About you You will have:
- Extensive experience in enterprise architecture within financial services, preferably in asset management, operations, or distribution.
- Deep understanding of Asia financial markets, regulations, and business practices.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong experience working with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leadership, in both regional and global contexts.
- Ability to balance global standards with local market needs, regulatory requirements, and cultural context.
- Excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
