Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Surety, Political Risk & Structured Credit team. This role will be based in Hong Kong.
We will count on you to: - Management and servicing of Surety and PRSC accounts and be responsible for key deliverables and revenue.
- Actively and strategically develop new business pipelines through various channels.
- Assist the team with development of new prospects / opportunities, either independently or with support from the team, and contribute to the annual new business target associated with this.
- Prepare market submissions on new transactions, consolidate feedback for clients, negotiate terms and wording and complete placement process.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/ reinsurance companies, ensuring efficient communication.
- Oversee daily operation, including processing and administration of surety bond.
- Handle billing processes accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor accounts (payment, collection, etc.) to anticipate and prevent problems.
What you need to have: - Bachelor's degree holder or above in Business / Banking & Finance / Accounting or relevant discipline.
- 4-6 years of work experience in corporate environment.
- Having knowledge in the principles of insurance would be beneficial.
- Possess broad technical knowledge across commodity finance, trade finance, asset backed finance and project finance transactions.
- Pro-active and able to work independently.
- A self-starter with a proactive and energetic approach
- Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
