Job Description

Citrix/NetScaler & Virtualization
  • Extensive knowledge on NetScaler
    • Build and design both physical and virtual environments.
    • In-depth knowledge of ADM and its integration with NetScaler.
    • Expertise in GSLB, load balancing, SSL certificates, and all standard features.
    • Familiarity with advanced features such as firewall and EPA.
    • Highly experienced in troubleshooting via both GUI and CLI.
    • Strong understanding of network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPN, and load balancers and their impact on Citrix/NetScaler.
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
    • Proficiency in leveraging both on-prem technology and Citrix Cloud.
    • Experience supporting and integrating Citrix infrastructure technologies such as FAS, Cloud Connectors, and StoreFront.
    • Preferred experience with Citrix Access Gateway.
    • Experience in migration to and from Citrix Cloud.
  • Virtualization & Cloud
    • Expert knowledge in VMware and Nutanix.
    • Well experienced in Citrix integration with AWS and Azure.
    • Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
    • Preferred experience with Windows 365 (CloudPC) and its integration with Citrix Cloud.
  • Automation & Scripting
    • Knowledge in scripting and automation using tools such as ServiceNow, UIPath, Power Automate, and PowerShell.
  • Endpoint & Directory Services
    • Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining thin clients using IGEL.
    • Deep knowledge of Active Directory, including policies, OU, and DNS.
  • Troubleshooting
    • Extensive experience in resolving L3/L2/L1 issues as well as single-user issues.

Desktop Engineering
  • Operating Systems & Endpoint Management
    • Strong experience with Windows 10/11 deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
    • Expertise in managing endpoints using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) or SCCM.
  • Hardware & Peripheral Support
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (desktops, laptops, and thin clients).
    • Experience with imaging and provisioning devices.
  • Software Installation & Maintenance
    • Proficiency in deploying and maintaining enterprise applications.
    • Knowledge of packaging and scripting for automated software deployment is a plus.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Understanding of endpoint security best practices, including antivirus, encryption, and patch management.
    • Ability to enforce compliance policies across devices.
  • Networking Basics
    • Troubleshooting connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, VPN).
    • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing as it relates to desktop environments.
  • Collaboration Tools
    • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
  • Incident Management
    • Handle L1/L2 desktop support tickets and escalate when necessary.
    • Strong documentation skills for issue resolution and knowledge base updates.
