Analyst, Equity Settlement, Business Operations
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for Global Equities trade settlement, to ensure our procedures are in accordance with our policies;
- Handle Trade booking, clearing with brokers and clients, settlement instructions set up in systems;
- Liaise with front office, internal and external clients to follow up any settlement related issues;
- Knowledge in fixing events handling for Global Equity Markets / Derivatives markets;
- Knowledge in operates systems like CCASS, CTM, Clearstream Xact, Pershing Net×360, Apex;
- Managing client portfolios by providing settlement services;
- Handle ad-hoc projects / requests that assigned by Managers.
Skills & Experience
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or Business Management related discipline;
- Willing to work on public holiday;
- 2 year experience in Global Market stock settlement and nominee services gained with sizable brokerage or investment bank;
- Candidates with full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
- Good command of both written and spoken English; Cantonese and Putonghua (preferable);
- Cooperative, independent, responsible and customer oriented with good communication skills;
- Able to work under high pressure and time constraint due to short settlement cycles / tight deadlines;
- Strong in Microsoft excel, word and power point (including Chinese Word Processing). Knowledge in VBA (preferable).
