A leading foreign corporate bank is looking for an experienced VP to join their Operations Planning team.
Your new role
- Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation, and management of bank-wide operational and system projects, such as core banking system, system enhancement/ implementation, streamline processing and BCP/ SWT.
- Create and maintain project plans, hold regular project review meetings, track progress, and identify deviations from the plan.
- Perform system enhancement projects and other IT and operational initiatives through coordination with relevant departments/sections in Hong Kong, overseas offices, and Head Office.
- Manage the collection, documentation, and analysis of project requirements and data.
- Act as the primary contact person and business unit representative to coordinate with operation departments/ business sections in preparing various operation-related reports for the Head Office/Local Authority, conducting internal procedure reviews, etc.
- Monitor and analyze key business operations and management processes; propose optimization strategies.
- Document and analyze business and user requirements; prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree holder.
- 5+ years' experience in back office operations in Banking.
- Good project management and planning skills with knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Familiar with core banking systems or robotics process automation (RPA) would be a plus.
- Experience in managing projects with the Head Office or Regional Office would be an advantage.
- Able to work with different stakeholders with good negotiation skills.
- Good command of both English and Chinese.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
