We are seeking an experienced Cryptocurrency Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the trading desk audits, with a focus on market‑making in derivatives referencing Cryptocurrency ETFs and Futures. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with trading desks, audit leadership, and senior stakeholders on complex, high‑impact audits within a rapidly evolving digital asset and derivatives landscape.
Key Responsibilities - Provide SME expertise for audits covering crypto‑linked derivatives trading desks
- Define audit scope and testing plans based on risk and control expectations
- Develop alternative testing approaches for complex crypto products
- Test controls, identify gaps, and assess control effectiveness
- Support audit reporting and raise control framework observations
- Partner with auditors and senior stakeholders throughout the audit process
Requirements - 5+ years' experience auditing sales and trading desks, including derivatives tied to cryptocurrency assets
- Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies and trading desk controls
- Understanding of crypto derivatives, ETFs, futures, and market‑making activities
- Cryptocurrency‑related certification or formal training required
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables), Access, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to manage tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
