Our client is a stable and well-established European Corporate & Investment bank in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for an Senior Associate, Loan Operation in order to expand their operation capacity in Hong Kong.
Responsibillities
- Perform end-to-end loan operation function on corporate banking products (bilateral / syndicated loans / guarantees etc)
- Function as middle office loan operation on corporate banking product by liaising with clients/agents/ Front Office to provide instructions to HQ for loan processing
- Monitor credit lines, loan agreement, fund positions & overdue items through system (FlexCube) & provide meaningful reports to various stakeholders
- Provide comments on drafted facility letter and loan documentation from an operational perspective
- Ensure sufficient funds in the nostro accounts/settlement for loan settlements
- Prepare loan request form for HQ to complete further stage of loan operation
- Ensure the completeness of loan instructions to HQ for processing & proper filing and safekeeping of executed documentation
- Handle internal & external stakeholder enquiries in related to the credit & loan operation middle office function
- Perform daily reconciliation to the loan ledger report on loan movements made by HQ & manage accurate payment & income booking in the system
- Process weekly / monthly reports to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
- Diploma or above
- 3 years of corporate banking loan operation/ loan administration experience
- Strong knowledge on various corporate banking loan operation
- All-rounded background & experience in corporate banking loan middle office function would be highly preferable
- Strong communication skills with solid track-record of working with internal and external stakeholders would be an advantage
