Overview: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) coverage team, with a primary focus on Chinese securities firms. This role will drive strategic client relationships, deliver innovative financial solutions, and ensure sustainable growth within the wholesale banking segment.
Your new role: - Lead and manage the NBFI coverage team, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for expanding coverage of PRC securities firms and other non-bank financial institutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key PRC securities firms, building deep and trusted relationships at senior levels.
- Identify new business opportunities across lending, treasury, capital markets, and transaction banking.
- Drive origination of cross-border financing, structured products, and liquidity solutions tailored to NBFI clients.
What You'll Need to Succeed: - Minimum 10+ years of experience in wholesale banking or financial institutions coverage, with a strong track record in Chinese securities firms/asset management companies, and better with private equities funds and venture capitals clients.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving business growth.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, structured finance, and liquidity solutions for NBFIs.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in Mandarin and English.
