Investment Research Associate - Asset Management

Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the team's commercial strategy, investment philosophy, and client portfolio management principles.
• Contribute to client service and business development by generating insights and crafting narratives that effectively communicate the team's investment approach, strategies, and performance.
• Collaborate with strategists, client advisors, business development leaders, and senior investment professionals to deliver high-quality client solutions and engagements.
• Leverage analytical skills, market knowledge, and the team's research frameworks to support commercial objectives and develop impactful investment narratives.
• Develop innovative tools, models, and processes to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree from a top-tier institution with a strong academic record (i.e. first class honour).
• Between 3-8 years' experience with relevant skillset (i.e. Asia Marco analysis) in leading securities / asset management platforms.
• A demonstrated interest in markets and investing, with an aptitude for solving complex problems through analysis.
• Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to work creatively with financial and economic data, and present insights in a clear and compelling manner.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• A client-focused mindset and commercial awareness, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Confidence under pressure, paired with effective communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong technical skills.
• An entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter attitude.
