Job Summary:
The AVP role will serve as a pivotal leadership position within the team, acting as a mentor and guide to officers and associates while strengthening overall team capability. This role is critical in addressing the growing volume of external stakeholder engagements and ensuring seamless execution of strategic coverage initiatives planned by GIS. The AVP will not only provide operational support but also drive alignment between tactical activities and long-term strategic objectives, enhancing the team's ability to deliver impactful marketing and communication outcomes.
Job Duties:
Team Guide & Execution Oversight
Guide and coordinate junior team members to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data, analysis, and marketing materials. Ensure outputs are purpose-driven and aligned with broader team goals.
Internal & External Connector
Act as a key liaison across internal divisions (e.g., Listing, Product, Legal) on cross-functional initiatives such as IFTT, RMB counter rollout, and board lot adjustments. Represent GIS in external engagements with banks, law firms, and other intermediaries.
Issuer & Market Engagement
Represent HKEX/GIS in meetings with potential issuers, pitch presentations, and industry events. Serve as an experienced voice in positioning HKEX as the preferred listing venue for global and regional companies.
Mentorship & Talent Development
Provide coaching and guidance to analysts/officers, and associates. Support their development in both technical competencies and strategic thinking, fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Wind), is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Prior work experience in investment banking, corporate finance or related experience in finance is preferred
