Finance Manager/Director, Family Office (Asset Management)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle Hong Kong accounting (AR/AP, expenses, fixed assets), independently close monthly and yearly accounts, and prepare HKFRS-compliant financial statements and SFC disclosures
• Support asset management products, including product accounting, NAV assistance, and investment income settlement
• Lead Hong Kong profits tax compliance, filings, and planning, as well as cross-border tax coordination with external advisors
• Prepare materials for external audits (Hong Kong entities), handle SFC regulatory submissions, and support offshore (BVI/Cayman) audit requirements
• Help develop and refine financial policies, internal controls, and group-wide compliance & fund safety procedures
• Provide financial guidance to business teams and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field
• Holder of HKICPA, ACCA, or other professional accounting qualification; SFC licensing qualification will be a strong advantage
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in asset management, fund accounting, or audit/finance experience at a Big 4 firm; candidate with more experience will be considered for senior-level position
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English, with strong adaptability, communication, and teamwork skills
• Solid experience in full-cycle Hong Kong accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting; familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel
• High compliance mindset, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to perform effectively under pressure
