My client is a leading global Investment Bank seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Markets Pre-Trade Change Delivery Technology team.
The role is responsible for overseeing the BA/PM function for APAC Prime & Cash Equities trading technology, covering all projects in the space. The successful candidate will be the key SME within Technology across Prime & Equities Cash trading platforms, interfacing with Trading desks, Market Risk, Compliance, Middle Office, and front-to-back Technology teams. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business and Tech Leads to understand strategic target architecture for the trading platform
- Ensure compliance with internal and external controls/regulatory policies, including Global Electronic Trading policy.
- Partner with Tech leads to drive application backlogs/sprint plans while providing robust frameworks to ensure timely and high-class delivery by the Development and QA teams
- Implement state-of-the-art project delivery standards and structures across all books of work
- Design and deliver process improvements and ensure consistent project management and business analysis task structure are in place across deliveries.
- Own setup and maintenance of the central repository for requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years' experience working on front-office trading platforms in reputable financial institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of front-to-back Equity trading flows and processes
- Good understanding of Asian exchange connectivity & market micro-structure, and solid experience with low-latency DMA trading platforms
- Ability to write high-quality Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specs that are clear and concise enough for front office traders, functional stakeholders and developers to follow
- Ability to build strong relationships with the Front Office, Operations, Compliance and Technology
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
