As part of the East Asia Treasury Department, the Markets Technology Department is responsible for technical support function for the Treasury Department
Role requirements
- Manage and monitor the operation of treasury systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Provide technical support for treasury applications, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user assistance.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure security and reliability.
- Collaborate with treasury and IT teams to identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Support integration projects between treasury systems and other business platforms.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain EUC (End User Computing) applications to meet business needs, in accordance with supervisors instructions and established program specifications.
- Independently perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to treasury systems.

Work experience, education and skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT support or application development, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Suitable candidates with less experience (minimum 2–3 years) may be considered for Assistant Vice President grade.
- Experience in EUC application development and support is preferred (not mandatory).
- Required programming skills: VBA, Python, and SQL. Experience with Typescript and front-end development using any framework is an advantage.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); Japanese or Cantonese is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
