The Role
VP/ED, Financial Sector, Equity Research
Key Accountabilities
- Cover financial subsector stocks mainly non-banking financials like internet brokers and crypto;
- Assist sector head in writing reports of the sector team, including initiation report, industry report and company report;
- Collect and analyze industry data and maintain relevant databases;
- Assist sector head to maintain sound relationships with clients, including respond to clients' requests in a timely manner;
- Complete ad ho tasks assigned by sector head.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university;
- Over 10 years of related industry research experiences;
- Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
- Strong financial modelling skills and excellent analytical and communication abilities;
- Good command in written and oral English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficiency in MS Office, programming knowledge is a plus.
