About the Role

As Head of Distribution, you will lead and develop a high-performing sales organization focused on delivering measurable growth across multiple product lines and channels. Working closely with senior management, you will shape go-to-market strategies, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure optimal alignment between commercial objectives and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute a sustainable distribution strategy that enhances market coverage, channel performance, and business scalability.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, coach, and empower a team of Business Development Managers to consistently achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Sales Enablement: Design and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance sales capability, technical knowledge, and client engagement.
  • Portfolio Oversight: Support commercial management in guiding deal selection and ensuring alignment with overall portfolio strategy and risk appetite.
  • Partnership Management: Strengthen relationships with key distribution partners — including financial institutions, brokers, and corporate clients — to expand market presence and revenue generation.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in trade credit, trade finance, or commercial insurance .
  • Proven track record of achieving ambitious sales targets and driving sustained portfolio growth.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience across multiple business channels.
  • Exposure to cross-border commercial environments preferred.
