This role aims to drive business operational excellence and robust governance across business unit processes and knowledge under PB TPC framework. This includes managing system access, optimizing processes for efficiency, and facilitating business change management, supporting operational resilience and coordinating strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
• Coordinate and drive various COO office initiatives across key areas such as KYC, Governance & Controls, Platform, and Infrastructure.
• Govern HK PB TPC policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and adhere to banking policy standards and country-specific regulations.
• Manage a central information and knowledge repository, providing centralized, quick, and easy access to business unit resources.
• Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP), including its maintenance and testing, to ensure the business unit's operational resilience.
• Oversee user access and security across PB/TPC platforms, which includes managing security matrices and participating in access reviews.
• Centralize front office feedback to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Drive business unit process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen risk and control.
• Coordinate and support front office new joiner training sessions to facilitate assimilation and familiarity with policies, process controls, and other relevant procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Preferably, experience in project management, business management and support, and risk management.
• Good knowledge of private banking products and processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and organized, with the ability to multitask, manage multiple projects in parallel, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical requirements and solutions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Good written and verbal communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
