Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based applications supporting core financial products and workflows.
Work closely with business users to gather, clarify, and refine requirements, ensuring solutions meet functional and non‑functional needs.
Implement new features, enhancements, and integrations with internal and external systems.
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code following best practices and internal standards
Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
3+ years of hands‑on experience in Java development (Java 8 or above preferred).
Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design principles, and common Java frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA).
Proven experience developing financial applications (e.g., trading, risk, payments, portfolio management, or other capital markets / banking systems)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing SQL queries.
