We are looking for a Tech Lead with a global financial institution to lead a team on the development of a digital platform for the APAC office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers through the full software development life cycle. Responsible for code reviews, sprint planning, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Act as a hands-on contributor, writing clean, maintainable code across the stack. Utilize React Native for mobile experiences and Java/Spring Boot for robust back-end services.
- Architect and develop high-performance, secure REST APIs to support platform functionality and ensure seamless integration with internal financial systems and third-party services.
- Oversee the deployment and management of applications within a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security compliance aligned with institutional standards.
- Partner with Product Managers, UX designers, and global stakeholders to translate complex business needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on expertise in React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
- Deep proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework for building enterprise-grade microservices.
- Demonstrated experience in a tech lead or team management capacity, with a track record of successfully delivering complex digital platforms or products.
- Solid experience working in cloud-native environments and a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security best practices.
- Fluent English communication.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
