Your Company Our client is a leading global organisation seeking a Senior Manager to drive business growth within the banking sector, covering foreign banks, local banks and Chinese banks. As a key commercial contributor, you will play a critical role in strengthening market presence, generating new business opportunities and enhancing client satisfaction across the Hong Kong financial services landscape. This role operates as an individual contributor, with a strong focus on strategic client engagement and commercial execution.
Your Role In this Senior Manager role, you will:
- Develop and execute a targeted sales and account strategy specifically for banking clients, including foreign, local and Chinese banks.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key banking relationships, identifying new business opportunities and deepening engagement with senior stakeholders.
- Drive new business development, upsell and cross-sell opportunities across priority bank accounts.
- Build long-term strategic partnerships by understanding client needs, regulatory developments and market trends within the banking sector.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Product & Solutions, Client Success and Marketing, to deliver customised solutions and strengthen client outcomes.
- Provide insights on competitor activities, market movement and client behaviour to support commercial strategy and product positioning.
- Work with global and regional teams to support alignment on strategic banking accounts.
- Maintain strong sales discipline in pipeline management, account planning and reporting in accordance with company standards.
What You'll Need to Succeed - Proven sales or business development experience with a strong track record covering banking clients (foreign banks, local banks and/or Chinese banks).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-USD portfolios and achieve strong revenue growth independently.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage senior leaders within the banking community.
- Solutions-driven, commercial mindset with the ability to articulate value propositions tailored to financial institutions.
- Experience in executing market strategies that drive sustainable business expansion.
- High energy, digitally savvy, and able to operate with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional maturity, strong communication skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.
