Overview
We are seeking a highly driven Sales Director with a strong hunter mentality to lead new business acquisition across our trading technology product suite. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of eFX, digital assets, or CFD trading solutions , as well as proven experience selling to institutional clients such as banks, brokers, hedge funds, market makers, or trading desks.
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, excels at generating new opportunities, and can drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition
- Identify, target, and acquire new institutional clients across APAC or global markets.
- Build and execute a proactive sales strategy to expand the adoption of our trading technology solutions.
- Own the entire sales lifecycle: lead generation, qualification, pitch, solution positioning, pricing, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Develop a deep understanding of client workflows, trading needs, and technology architecture to effectively advise and position our offering.
Market & Product Expertise
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in any of the following domains:
- Electronic FX trading systems (eFX)
- Digital asset trading and connectivity
- CFD / multi-asset brokerage solutions
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, liquidity workflows, and regulatory developments.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders: Heads of eFX, Trading Technology, COO, CTO, Product, and Operations teams.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and client onboarding teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Sales Performance & Reporting
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maintain robust pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
- Provide continuous market feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap.
Requirements Experience & Background
- 8+ years of sales or business development experience in trading technology, liquidity solutions, or institutional connectivity .
- Strong domain expertise in one or more of the following:
- eFX trading platforms
- Digital asset trading infrastructure / connectivity
- CFD or multi-asset brokerage technology
Skills & Competencies
- Proven track record of hunting and closing new institutional accounts.
- Strong understanding of workflow solutions, connectivity, price engines, OMS/EMS, risk, liquidity aggregation, or bridge technology.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong network across banks, brokers, liquidity providers, hedge funds, or exchanges.
- Ability to work independently, operate strategically, and deliver results under tight timelines.
