Settlement Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily operation role in a fast-growing Futures business
• Prepare and review the documents and records generated by the team
• Formulate, review and implement operation policies and procedures to enhance operation efficiency and comply with latest rules and regulations
• Handle trade settlements and market data administration for HK and global futures
• Manage client asset in banks, exchanges and brokers
• Support sales team to provide client care to high-net-worth individuals and institutions
• Handle account opening including KYC, customer enquiries
• Liaison with Hong Kong and global regulatory bodies
• Liaison with both internal and external service providers for ensuring the smoothness of operations
• Assist key management in ad hoc projects
• Shift may be required

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree or above
• 2-3years back office operation experience in Futures company (or investment bank, financial institution)
• Familiar with settlement systems
• Familiar of large open position reporting
• Familiar of FATCA and AEOI/CRS reporting
• Knowledge in PC-SPAN is preferable
• Knowledge in compliance is preferable
• Knowledge in finance or accounting is preferable
• Knowledge in risk management operations is preferable
• Good command of written & spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Accomplish tasks with least supervision
• Self-motivated, team player, fast learner
