One of key life insurance client is seeking a Marketing Director to lead data‑driven strategy, research, and market initiatives for the Mainland China market. This role drives insight generation, marketing execution, cross‑border coordination, and strategic decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer and market research projects, delivering structured insights for strategic planning.
- Conduct industry and competitive analysis to support business and marketing decision‑making.
- Oversee Mainland China marketing initiatives across online and offline channels, ensuring effective execution.
- Analyse internal and external data to guide marketing strategy, business direction, and ROI evaluation.
- Manage cross‑functional collaboration, external partnerships, and project coordination across Mainland China.
- Drive innovation initiatives related to marketing, new business models, and commercial growth.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 12 years' experience in market research, consulting, strategy, marketing analysis, or similar fields.
- Industry experience in Hong Kong Life or General Insurance preferred. Open to banking industry
- China insurance market exposure highlly desirable
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI‑related tools; comfortable with data‑driven work.
- Strong project management, and cross‑functional collaboration capabilities.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑driven, able to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
- Strong English & Cantonese proficiency; Mandarin a plus, able to handle documentation, reporting, and communication independently.
