Responsibility
- Design and develop backend services for financial applications, ensuring secure and efficient payment and settlement workflows.
- Build and maintain application and database solutions using Java, .NET, and Oracle integrated with core banking systems.
- Provide ongoing support for mission-critical systems, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and disaster recovery participation.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyse workflows, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Support testing and quality assurance activities, validating system functionality and interoperability with financial platforms.
- Work on SWIFT-related modules, implementing financial messaging standards to ensure compliance and smooth integration.
- Contribute to DevOps practices by maintaining CI/CD pipelines for backend applications, ensuring efficient deployment and security compliance.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- 4 years of experience in financial application systems development, with direct exposure to SWIFT messaging projects.
- Strong programming skills in Java and .NET; experience with Crystal Reports is an advantage.
- Solid technical knowledge of Oracle database programming, including stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning for high-volume transaction systems.
- In-depth knowledge of SWIFT Message Standards (FIN, CBPR+, ISO 20022), XML, JSON, and OpenAPI for financial messaging integration.
- Familiarity with settlement workflows involving local and overseas central securities depositories (e.g., CHATS, Euroclear, Clearstream) is highly preferred.
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
